Sample Texts - What is their purpose? Pupils who seem to be candidates for the use of a spellchecker should not be introduced to a spellchecker indiscriminately. By using an unedited piece of free writing written by the pupil, it is possible to judge whether the particular spellchecker is likely to benefit the pupil. If you enter the word written by the pupil into the spellchecker and the spellchecker can give the target word in its list of suggestions in over two thirds of cases, it may be worth introducing the pupil to the spellchecker.If the spellchecker only offers the target word for less than half the words entered, it is unlikley to be a useful tool for the pupilEven if the pupil’s text passes the 66.6% test, it is still important that the pupil should be able to spot the correct word in the list of the suggestions offered. This is the next thing to check. 

How to use these texts  

Mark the text that you want to work on. (Click at the start of the text and drag the high light to the end of the required section) Press the key combination [CTRL]+[C] to copy the text to the clipboard. Load the wordprocessor with the spellchecker you wish to test. Press the key combination [CTRL]+[V] to copy the text from the clipboard to the page. Now set in motion the spellchecking process. (If you are using MS Word, the suspect words are underlined in red. Click on the underlined word with the right mouse button to see the suggestions)

This story is about a wolf and his increatable life. He is not intorjous at first. Only two people how are on thair way to a town with a cothin .
The first sign of wolves are whene you descover they are hungry and are trying to get to the people on the trail. Thair is only one wolf comes closer to the camp and that becomes the mother to the wolf
White Fang the mother is not a wolf she achily is a dog and is the leader of the pack of wolfs. Later in the story when the wolf pup is born and when he is just a though months old he goes out exploring wich is not a good idear as a lot of preatitors about.
In this small peice of the story the biggest part of a pups life is incounterd the taste of his first kill it may not sound exstrodanery to us put it is amazing to the pupys.
